Mini-Trip to Parksley on Virginia's Eastern Shore.....

Saturday, January 3, 2016. Temperatues in the 40s, clear blue sky with a slight breeze. Parksley is about 80 miles north of Virginia Beach, a few miles west of Highway 13. 

Note: The photos are not in any order and I've decided to post truly crappy ones as a reminder to myself to work harder on my photography.

How was the day? Terrific, weather was fine though a little nippy. Wouldn't mind visiting again when the weather's a little warmer. Also, would like to tour the railroad museum. Total miles, about 180. 

Don Valerio's Mexican Restaurant. This one is a few miles north of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel on Highway 13. There is another restaurant in Onley, about 60 miles north.
